WARPAINT Media Inc., the creative services agency, is a small but mighty firm offering digital media services such as branding, customer experience development, web development, design and print services and both live action and motion graphics video production.
1. What is your role and what is your favorite part of your job?
I represent the “front line” of WARPAINT Media as a producer and new business developer. I’m typically the first person people speak with when they approach WARPAINT and I love being constantly exposed to inspiring new people, ideas and challenges.
2. If you could have coffee with any business leader or industry expert, who would you choose, and why?
No doubt it would be fascinating to get inside Tesla Motors and spend any amount of time with Elon Musk. I’m not sure I’d like the man on a personal level, but anyone who can take on the automotive industry and force it to change like he has deserves my respect. Tesla fuses my love of new technologies and automotive culture, so I can’t imagine coming away from that encounter feeling disappointed.

4. Looking at your company’s future, what are you most enthusiastic about?
The future looks incredibly exciting for WARPAINT Media. We are currently experiencing more than three times the volume of our previous best quarter and we are spending a great deal of time and effort managing that growth carefully. Explosive growth like ours can be tough and knowing that 80% of businesses in Ontario fold before their fifth year gives us the incentive to grow our assets, expand our client services and to adapt policies and procedures well beyond what buinesses like ours typically employ. We are very proud of where we are and where we are heading, but there is no doubt in our minds that this is just the beginning.
5. What excites you most about the local tech community?
That we have such a vibrant and active community here in London! WARPAINT regularly works with emerging companies and we love having a hand in their success. Our elevated branding and customer experience development insights combined with one of the most skilled team of designers and developers in the area makes us a great choice to help new companies and services make a big impact and leave a lasting impression. We’re constantly being challenged by these new relationships and we are very grateful for them because each one makes us better and better at what we do.
6. What causes or community activities is your company involved in?
WARPAINT Media is a proud supporter of London Pride, Prom Look, Princess Program, Startup London and Startup Weekend, Ladies Learning Code, the IABC Virtuoso Awards, The Life Saving Society of Ontario, The City of London – aquatics and parks and recreation departments, Regional HIV/Aids Connection, Childreach and the Red Shoe Society.
