Applications are now being accepted for the next cohort of startups to the JOLT and Hyperdrive accelerator programs.
JOLT
JOLT, a four month accelerator program located at the MaRS Discovery District in Toronto, works exclusively with startups in the IT, communications and entertainment (ICE) industries.
The program aims to build high-growth web and mobile companies and to work with startups to improve their execution and time-to-market.
The program includes seed capital of $30,000, advisory services, market intelligence, workshops, events and access to a network of approximately 80 mentors.
Applications are now open and will be accepted up to June 30, 2013.
Hyperdrive
Based out of Waterloo, Hyperdrive is a three month incubator program with a global focus to seed, fund and grow new businesses.
The program is open to all early-stage technology startups from anywhere in the world, but teams must locate to Waterloo, Ontario for the entire 3-month duration of the program.
Hyperdrive starts with a rigorous three-month sprint in which companies focus on validating their markets and acquiring customers. They then spend nine months refining their businesses and building sales channels, followed by 12 months of scaling up operations. Throughout the entire program, companies have access to Hyperdrive’s network of more than 140 mentors, including on-site executives-in-residence.
