TechAlliance’s Sales & Marketing Peer-2-Peer group invites TechAlliance members working in a sales and marketing capacity to join the group for 2012-13.
The Sales & Marketing P2P Group was founded six years ago to address current sales and marketing issues and concerns within the regional tech industry. TechAlliance developed the P2P group as an open forum in which member companies can share best practices, as well as seek advice from their peers in a non-threatening, non-competitive environment.
The group allows participants to learn from each other, as well as to leverage ideas which will benefit all team members. In order to build and strengthen London’s tech community, group members need to grow their network and learn collaboratively, to achieve shared benefit in the areas of sales and marketing. This will help make each member companies more successful, and turn London’s economy into the envy of Southwestern Ontario and beyond.
This coming year, the group expects to present informative information sessions and guest speakers which will enable each participant to fill their toolbox with tools focusing on topics including: Sales, Marketing, Social Media, Best Practices, Teamwork and Networking. What will not be accepted is the simple act of business card exchange in order to grow one’s perceived network. The group is also not a forum for job hunters who are looking for a quick in into a local company.
