Anyone who knows me will tell you that I’m not great at goodbyes. My signature move at social events is to disappear without a word to anyone (also known, in honour of my heritage and St. Patrick’s Day, as the Irish Goodbye). Unfortunately, that’s not possible in this case, and the time has come for me to leave the party.
My time at Techalliance has been amazing, enriching, and full of inspiration. I’ll be leaving as of the end of this week, but I’ve gained friends and knowledge that will stay with me for much longer. I’m proud of what we as a team have been working on over my last year here, and I’m excited for all of you to see what’s to come in the future. I feel like London is on the cusp of something really great, and I’ll be following the developments closely.
As I head off to Vancouver to join CDRD Ventures as Business Development Manager, I feel sad to leave, but I’m looking forward to the adventure ahead. Deniz Temelli, who you will know from the Business Services team, will be taking over this position, as well as an expanded managerial role on the team as the Manager of Measured Innovation and Business Services. She will obviously be amazing, and the whole analyst team is in great hands with her at the helm.
So with that I’ll say see you later, and thanks for a great year!
