Over 40 people converged on Edgar & Joe’s Café, Tuesday night to hear 7 pitches to improve healthcare with technology as part of Hacking Health London’s first pitch night.
Hacking Health is designed to improve healthcare by inviting technology creators and healthcare professionals to collaborate on realistic, human-centric solutions to front-line problems.
The initiative hosts hackathons and workshops that are hands-on events where small teams tackle tough problems in a supportive community of peers and mentors.
The diverse crowd included health care professionals, tech experts, entrepreneurs and patients.
Teams will now be preparing for the second pitch night in March, and spend the next month polishing their business cases, and developing prototypes.
The March event will judge each of the entries and award prizes to a winning team.
