The Business Help Centre of Middlesex County Adds New Office and Staff
In an effort to provide increased resources to small and medium sized business owners, and those looking to start a new business in Middlesex County, The Business Help Centre has opened a new satellite office and added new staff.
The Business Help Centre of Middlesex County services eight municipalities. These municipalities cover a region of just under 3,000 square kilometres. Community Futures Development Corporation (CFDC) of Middlesex County is a community-based non-profit organization run by a board of local volunteers. The board has identified that some areas within the catchment area have been underserviced.
In an effort to provide local resources to those areas, The Business Help Centre has hired Shauna Rae as Community Engagement and Business Development Officer in the new office in Dorchester, Ontario. The new satellite space is located on the second floor of the Dorchester Flight Exec Centre.
Rae spent over a decade working in broadcast media and has served nearly ten years providing traditional and digital marketing, community engagement and public relation services to businesses in London and area. She currently writes a monthly column for both The London Free Press and Business London Magazine and resides just outside of Dorchester with her partner Dan and their precocious dog Lola.
