Growing innovation company INVORG has launched a business technology and innovation training and internship institute (IBTI) to create a new skilled talent pool in southeastern Ontario. The training and internship programs are targeted to both individuals and organizations seeking to build employable skills which transform business. IBTI brings a compelling career advancement opportunity to southeastern Ontario, saving significant time and travel costs compared to training in Toronto. The current courses on offer, Business Analyst training and Microsoft Dynamics Certification prep, are the only courses of their kind offered in London.
Particularly unique is the internship aspect of the institute. Almost every program offered by IBTI includes a significant period of hands-on experiential learning in a real business setting.
The institute was started because Joseph Edward, INVORG and IBTI CEO, is concerned about southeastern Ontario’s innovation problem. “Companies are struggling to find skilled talent and many jobseekers are hitting a wall when it comes to finding a role. IBTI bridges that gap by providing people with highly employable skills,” says Edward. Skills training includes business analysis, software customization, IT security, and more. Rather than hardcore technology, IBTI focuses on programs that train participants to leverage technology to transform business.
Two training programs are available for signup now:
- The Business Analyst training is a twelve week classroom and internship course designed to prepare individuals for the BA certification exam as well as to use their skills to drive innovation and transformation in business.
- The second course offering is the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Certification Prep and Exam. This course trains participants in CRM, a future technology which, according to Gartner, will be at the heart of digital initiatives in the coming years.
Attend the IBTI info session on August 9 at 5:30pm at INVORG and IBTI headquarters, 111 Waterloo St Suite 508 in downtown London.
