RBC Place London is a multi-purpose convention facility, incorporated in 1993, and owned by the City of London. We’re governed by a Board of Directors, appointed by Municipal Council. This volunteer Board is responsible for the strategic direction of the London Convention Centre Corporation.
Seeking New Board Members
London Convention Centre Corporation is currently seeking two engaged citizens to join the Board which oversees the operation of RBC Place London on behalf of the City of London. Annually RBC Place London contributes $18-$21 million in economic benefit to London by hosting conventions, multi-day events, socials and meetings.
BOARD TERM:
3 year from December 2019 to December 2022, eligible for a 2nd 3 year term up to a maximum of 6 years
Must be 18 years of age
One from digital media/gaming sector who is a resident of London
One from agriculture/agrifoods sector who resides within 100 kms of the municipal boundaries of London
Directors serve without remuneration
Approximately 9 board meetings annually currently on 3rd Thursday morning at 7:30 am – 9:30 am
