Today Kaleid Snow Gear, manufacturer of snowboarding safety equipment, is launching its brand new website, which was made by WARPAINT Media. Kaleid Snow Gear was founded by Jessica Hodgson in 2013. Jessica has been teaching snowboarding for six years and is dedicated to keeping the sport safe and fun. In 2013, Jessica sustained a bone bruise injury which kept her from teaching. In a failed search for suitable protective equipment, Jessica designed her own prototype and created a local and philanthropic brand committed to making snowboarding more safe and accessible for all riders on any terrain.
So they have an awesome new website, but they’ve also launched a TeeSpring shirt in conjunction. What’s TeeSpring? TeeSpring is a site that allows t-shirt designers to accept preorders on their products, printing the batch when it reaches a certain threshold- that way there are zero upfront costs for the creators. Kaleid are donating $5 from every t-shirt sale toward efforts to help kids attend ski and snowboarding programs. Pretty great, right? You can check out TeeSpring and order their shirt here.
