Mobile app development agency will develop new site while posting progress live to web
Inner Geek will be publicly developing a brand new company website from the ground up in only 3 weeks. Development will commence on January 13, with the goal of having a beautifully designed and completely functional website for January 31. The public can stay updated on the development process by following the company’s blog and social media posts to get an insider view on everything that goes into developing a website.
Developing a website in itself is a challenge, even for an experienced developer. The Inner Geek team has taken the challenge a few steps further by implementing an ambitious timeline and allowing for an audience of their peers and competition. The goal is to complete the bulk of the website’s structure and main functions in week 1, and to spend the next two weeks on bug fixes and improvements. Any challenges the team runs into, successes experienced, and general workflow will be posted to the company’s social media pages (including Facebook and Twitter) and to individual employee’s personal Medium blogs.
The site will include features such as a 24/7 video live stream of our downtown office, a 1-minute ‘About Us’ video, and animated vector illustrations. The official launch of the completed site will be February 7 to coincide with the Techcellence Awards, where Inner Geek has been nominated in the business growth category.
