The newly (re)formed London Bridge Network hosted its first meeting on Tuesday, November 5 at Friday Knight Lights with a group of more than 50 local business and technology professionals.
The London Bridge Network evolved out of the former InterNetwork group with the hopes of bringing together stakeholders in both business and technology.
“We were very impressed with the strong turnout at the first event and the feedback we received was very positive,” said Ross McDermott, Communications Manager at EyeLook Media and one of the event’s organizers. “We know as we move forward, our events will get better and better and we’re confident it will bring value to all the business and technology people in London who attend.”
The evening featured guest speakers that highlighted the growth of the downtown core, and the importance of technology-based businesses to its continued development.
“Over the next year we’re hoping our membership grows steadily and we continue to deliver thought-provoking and valuable content that is helpful in developing strong relationships between the small- and medium-sized businesses in our community, and the wealth of technology experts that thrive in London,” said McDermott.
The next London Bridge Network event is scheduled for December 3 at 5 p.m. and will again be hosted at Friday Knight Lights.
