The Ontario Network of Excellence is asking high school students to “Make Your Pitch”.
The contest challenges students in grades 9-12 to pitch their business idea in a 2-minute video that will be voted on by the public and expert judges. Finalists will present their ideas in front of a panel of judges in Toronto at OCE Discovery 2013 on May 27-28.
Prizes for winning entries include business training, networking, and a reserved spot in the Summer Company program, which provides up to $3,000, hands-on coaching and mentoring to young entrepreneurs to help them start and operate a business during the summer school break.
Voting for the contest runs from Saturday, May 4 to Thursday, May 16.
Visit www.makeyourpitch.ca for details and to vote for videos.
