Adventus is led by Gary Svoboda, Chief Executive Officer and Michael Van Belle, President.

Gary Svoboda, B.A.Sc. (Electrical Engineering, University of Toronto, 1979), M.B.A. (University of Western Ontario, 1983) is the Founder and CEO of Adventus Research + Consulting Inc. With over 30 years of experience in industrial and consumer market research and technology alignment beginning at the Canadian Innovation Centre in Waterloo, Gary has worked with hundreds of innovative companies and entrepreneurs launching new technologies, products and services – providing valuable market information and insights. The firm Gary leads maintains memberships with the Ontario Centres of Excellence (OCE), Communitech (Waterloo Region), TechAlliance of Southwestern Ontario (London), and the Innovation Factory (Hamilton). Gary is also currently the Chapter Chair for the Manning Innovation Awards – Southwest Ontario Chapter.

Michael Van Belle, B.B.A. (Business School, Wilfrid Laurier University, 1992) is President of Adventus Research + Consulting Inc. Michael has over 20 years of experience in marketing, including over a decade of corporate marketing and brand management, marketing communications and strategic planning with TD Bank. Prior to TD, Michael was part of the Strategic Initiatives Team of Canadian Tire where he evaluated new business models for delivery of financial services within the Canadian retail sector. Michael was also a senior market research analyst and manager at the Canadian Innovation Centre in Waterloo.
