Janic’s approach is to create fun and creative settings in which people feel valued and trusted; she wants to pour life into the work, share wisdom and inspire one another to be better leaders. Janic is a leadership consultant, workshop designer, facilitator and presenter, and has 17 years of experience working with organizations in various industries including non-profit, pharmaceutical, hospitals, retirement homes and long-term care facilities. During this time, Janic learned that organizational values are imperative to embed into workplace culture to nurture inclusivity and diversity.

Janic is a graduate of the Masters of Leadership program from Royal Roads University and also recently became a Certified Health Executive (CHE) with the Canadian College of Health Leaders (CCHL) which is a competencies-based certification program through The Canadian College of Health Leaders (CCHL). This certification provides a Canadian credential that recognizes effective leadership in Canadian health services.
The competencies represent the knowledge, skills, attitudes and judgment that Canadian health leaders need to have now and in the future in order to carry out their leadership and management functions efficiently and effectively. The College has adopted the LEADS in a Caring Environment leadership capabilities framework to strengthen Canada’s health leadership capacity. The LEADS framework is based on the following: Lead Self, Engage Others, Achieve Results, Develop Coalitions and Systems Transformation.
