InnoSoft is a software company focused on recreation management. InnoSoft’s primary products are Fusion, FusionIM and FusionGO. Fusion manages all aspects of a recreation department provided via a Windows smart-client, desktop application and a web-based, member portal. InnoSoft’s intramural solution is FusionIM. InnoSoft’s downloadable application is FusionGO.
What is your role and what is your favourite part of your job?
I sell all three products to campus recreation departments and municipal centers. I enjoy being onsite or at conferences, and meeting prospects and existing clients. Speaking to our clients about the origins of recreation in the university setting and growth of recreation not only in the university setting but after the student graduates. Who knew eSports was a thing?
If you could have coffee with any business leader or industry expert, who would you choose, and why?
I would like to have Satya Nadella, Microsoft, Tim Cook, Apple, and Ki Nam Kim, Samsung in the same room to talk about the products they are producing and how they are affecting our youth.
What would you recommend to someone looking to grow as a professional?
I seek out active groups to surround myself with individuals who look at the physical and spiritual aspects of health (i.e. – http://www.empowerconditioning.com/ and https://fitclubbootcamps.ca/).
Looking at your company’s future, what are you most enthusiastic about?
The opportunity to find new markets because InnoSoft is currently in North America. Expanding to Europe, South America and Australia would be exciting. Our company has a knack for hiring people who enhance our culture. I’m excited for our growth.
What excites you most about the local tech community?
The local tech community is collaborative. Whether it is an established company or a start up, there is transparency regarding best practices.
