Addressing the call for action to support early-stage and high-growth startups, the federal government announced $250M in emergency funding through the National Research Council (NRC).
The NRC IRAP Innovation Assistance Program aims to close a significant gap for businesses that were ineligible for existing relief programs, helping startups in the technology and innovation sectors sustain through the COVID-19 pandemic and continue to fuel our innovation economy.
The new funding will be made available starting next week — the online application process opens on April 22 at 7:00 AM.
