Hacker Studios and Tractor and Palm Inc. are bringing the Canadian Mentorship Challenge to London during Global Entrepreneurship Week.
During the week, 12 experienced business experts are providing free one-on-one mentorship sessions for entrepreneurs that are starting out.
Three TechAlliance staff members, Ian Haase, Howie Chan and Suzanne Morrison will be participating throughout the week as mentors.
The Canadian Mentorship Challenge is a joint initiative by CYBF and Startup Canada. Through 75 events across the country the initiative will support 10,000 aspiring entrepreneurs and early stage companies.
Global Entrepreneurship Week was founded in 2008 by the Kauffman Foundation to be the world’s largest celebration of entrepreneurship. It has grown to being in 125 countries with over 24,000 partner organizations holding 33,000 events.
The organizers of Mentor London believe that it’s important to create events like this for established entrepreneurs and business professionals. Informal relationships and connections create opportunities for knowledge to pass from one generation to the next.
