Local London company TecVana has launched a pilot program for their new Geo-Adventuring mobile application in partnership with Oxford County Tourism.
The app allows users to explore events and activities that interest them in Ontario’s outdoors and to customize their own expeditions, all while earning rewards for merchandise and services.
TecVana Corporation‘s Geo-Adventuring initiative is aimed at creating a new generation of outdoor enthusiasts that will help drive rural economic development and a sustainable future for the many small town markets across North America.
Geo-Adventuring was developed with expertise from Fanshawe College’s Interactive Media Design and Production & Interactive Media Specialist Program.
County Council approved a service agreement with TecVana on July 10 to pilot the Geo-Adventuring mobile app. The full application is set to launch with Oxford County rural tourism events and attractions beginning this fall.
