With a continued commitment to launching world-changing startups, accelerating growth for established tech companies and fostering a vibrant innovation economy in Southwestern Ontario, we are thrilled to welcome two new passionate and innovative thinkers to the TechAlliance team. Both Andrew Leest and Davie Lee are dynamic, entrepreneurial thinkers and bring new insights, connections, and opportunities for our companies.
An incubator alum of Velocity, and experienced coach and mentor to entrepreneurs while at the Conrad School of Entrepreneurship and Business, Andrew is well equipped to advise startups in our region. Most recently at Innovation Works, Andrew enjoys connecting entrepreneurs with the resources, knowledge, and experience needed to create innovative solutions for significant problems. “I am very happy to be working with such a great team at Techalliance, and excited for the potential here in Southwestern Ontario to grow and nurture innovative technology companies. This is a time of great change and TechAlliance is well-positioned to take on these new and global challenges.” Andrew says.
A considerable powerhouse of entrepreneurship outside of Ontario, Davie joins us as a former technology startup founder of Townfolio, a govtech startup managing and visualizing public and private sector data. Before exiting Townfolio, Davie focused on the technical attributes of the business, helping to solve problems by developing tools to scale the company. As an alum of NEXT Canada and Techstars, Davie’s expertise will benefit many startups in London and Southwestern Ontario “I’ve been a big beneficiary of mentors and influencers offering their help during my startup journey, and I am looking to do the same. The opportunity to join TechAlliance gives me this chance to advance the ecosystem and advise startups and scaling companies who may be in similar situations I once found myself.” Davie explained.
“With immense talent and experience as startup founders, we are delighted to welcome Davie and Andrew to the team. Both with fresh perspectives, they will bring energy and insight as we continue to take bold action to showcase and support Southwestern Ontario’s globally competitive technology sector,” says Christina Fox, CEO, TechAlliance.
