Continuing to grow our communications team, we’re excited to welcome Quinn Palmer. This new addition to our team will help continue to highlight the incredible stories that come from within Southwestern Ontario’s innovation economy, and in tandem, foster more opportunities for collaboration, partnership, and open connections in our region. Keeping a focus on the founders, talent, and stakeholders, we’re excited to increase our capacity to support these groups while also placing a more defined emphasis on the development of our core team members for the long term.
Quinn brings a range of experiences in marketing and communications, most recently as a member of the Sony Music Entertainment Group’s social media team, where she focused on maintaining an up-to-date media presence and crafting social content for Sony. Having been a student at both Carleton University and Centennial College, she brings a range of experiences from her time on both campuses, notably with skills in ASL. In October of 2020, she also launched Bruce Peninsula Apparel Co., an apparel business promoting the Bruce Peninsula region, as co-founder she manages the marketing, communications, and brand development aspects of the business.
“As a small business owner myself, joining the TechAlliance team is more than just a new position. It is an opportunity to grow, learn, and put my energy into what I love. As the new Communications Specialist, I look forward to the likeminded entrepreneurs I will meet and the TechAlliance team that I get to collaborate with.”
As a Communications Specialist, Quinn will begin to closely work alongside a number of our clients producing, sharing, and amplifying their successes and challenges. As an entrepreneur herself, her unique focal point will allow us to foster unique new stories of growth, triumph, overcoming challenges and partnership in the community.
“Quinn’s track record as a smart content developer and experience as a founder will prove to be an asset to not only TechAlliance, but to our region’s most prominent and growing ventures. We are delighted to welcome her to the team as we continue to amplify and share Southwestern Ontario’s globally competitive ideas, successes and innovations on a regional and global level,” says Christina Fox, CEO of TechAlliance.
We are extremely excited to welcome her on board, her skills as a communications professional will bring new opportunities to our clients and partners. As the regional innovation centre for Southwestern Ontario, we’re continuing to focus on the organizations we work with and support, and the addition of Quinn to our team carries these values.
